Harry Ward

Director & Chartered Surveyor

Harry specialises in commercial agency, providing expert advice to vendors, landlords and occupiers across a range of property matters. He is responsible for the firm's commercial and residential agency departments and also undertakes a broad spectrum of professional work, including RICS Red Book valuations, lease advisory matters (rent reviews and lease renewals) and development consultancy. Harry began his career with global property consultancy JLL and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2019. Outside of work, he serves as Chairman of the Hinckley Town Centre Partnership, which administers the Hinckley BID, and is a Trustee of the Hinckley and District Mencap Society.

Jonathan Hubbard

Jonathan has been with the firm for over 30 years and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2005. He specialises in all aspects of property management and is responsible for the firm's residential lettings and commercial property management departments. He also provides a wide range of professional services, including RICS Red Book valuations, HomeBuyer surveys, lease advisory services (rent reviews and lease renewals), and the preparation of schedules of condition and dilapidations.

Ben Moore

Director

Ben joined Wards in 2006 and specialises in block & estate and commercial property management. He is responsible for the firm's block and estate management portfolio and also undertakes commercial agency and professional work, including the preparation of Land Registry-compliant plans.

Ann Ward

Director

Ann has over 35 years' experience in the property industry and joined Wards in 1990. She is responsible for the firm's accounts function, overseeing financial administration and the day-to-day management of office accounts.

Emilie Hall

Property Transfer & Office Manager

Emilie joined Wards in 2004 and serves as the firm's Office Manager. In addition, she oversees all block and estate management property transfers, including leasehold enquiries and the issue of compliance certificates.

Shantelle Young

Block & Estate Property Manager

Shantelle joined Wards in 2012 and manages a portfolio of housing estates and apartment blocks throughout the Midlands. She liaises with freeholders, leaseholders and contractors to coordinate maintenance works, resolve management issues and deal with the day-to-day administration of managed properties.

Kelly Stretton

Residential Lettings Manager

Kelly joined Wards in 2022 and manages the Residential Lettings department. She is responsible for overseeing property maintenance issues, carrying out interim and final inspections, dealing with tenancy deposit scheme disputes, and managing all other matters arising during or at the end of tenancies across the firm's residential lettings portfolio.

Sophie Mason

Residential Sales Manager

Sophie has over five years' experience in the property industry, having started her career in Barnsley. She joined Wards in 2024 and manages the Residential Sales department, overseeing the marketing, negotiation and progression of all residential property transactions undertaken by the firm.

Jane Wade

Block & Estate Accounts Manager

Jane joined Wards in 2012 and has over 25 years' experience in property management. As Accounts Manager, she oversees all accounts administration for the firm's block and estate management portfolio, including service charge accounting, budgeting, reconciliations and client account management.

Rachel Oliver

Residential Lettings Coordinator

Rachel joined Wards in 2025 and is responsible for the marketing, negotiation and pre-tenancy arrangements for the firm's residential lettings portfolio. Before joining Wards, she worked as a Mortgage Adviser for a regional building society, bringing valuable experience in residential property and finance.

Alice Averall

Block & Estate Administrator

Alice has over 10 years' experience in the property industry and joined Wards in 2025. Her responsibilities include undertaking routine site inspections, reporting maintenance issues and liaising with contractors, owners and tenants across the firm's managed properties.

Aiden Herbert

Trainee Surveyor

Aiden joined Wards in 2026 as a Trainee Surveyor and is currently undertaking his training towards becoming a Chartered Surveyor. He assists the firm's surveyors across all aspects of commercial property, including agency, property management and professional services.

Kath Jeynes

Commercial Accounts Manager

Kath joined Wards in 2006 and is responsible for the collection and administration of commercial rents across the firm's managed portfolio. She liaises closely with commercial landlords and tenants and oversees utility account management for managed properties.

Daniel Harris

Block & Estate Accounts Administrator

Daniel joined Wards in 2017 and now works within the Block Management Accounts team. He is responsible for managing the accounts for a portfolio of property developments, including service charge administration, account reconciliations and the day-to-day financial management of managed properties.

Victoria Shortland-Webb

Block & Estate Accounts Administrator

Victoria joined Wards in 2023 and manages the accounts for a portfolio of property developments. Her responsibilities include service charge administration, the preparation of service charge budgets and reconciliations, and the day-to-day financial management of managed properties.

Lucy Gamble

Block & Estate Accounts Administrator

Lucy joined Wards in 2024 and manages the accounts for a portfolio of property developments. She is also responsible for credit control and debt recovery and assists with the administration of block management properties, including the registration of new owners and updating ownership records.

Louise Hubbard

Accounts Administrator

Louise joined Wards in 2005 and assists with the administration of accounts for the firm's block & estate and commercial management portfolio. Her duties primarily involve processing and paying contractor invoices.
