Jonathan has been with the company for over 30 years and deals with all aspects of property management. Jonathan also carries out a wide range of professional work including RICS 'Red Book' valuations, home buyer surveys, lease advisory (rent reviews and lease renewals) and schedules of condition and dilapidations.

Ben joined Wards in 2006 and deals predominantly with commercial property and block and estate management. Ben also carries out some commercial agency and professional work, including preparing Land Registry compliant plans.

Harry Ward

Harry deals predominantly with commercial agency, providing expert advice to vendors, landlords and occupiers. Harry also carries out a wide range of professional work, including RICS 'Red Book' valuations, lease advisory (rent reviews and lease renewals) and development consultancy. Prior to joining Wards in 2019, Harry worked for a global property consultancy in the corporate recoveries team.

Ann Ward

Director

Ann has been in the property business for over 30 years and joined Wards in 1990. Her duties include general accounts maintenance for the office as a whole.

Emilie Hall

Property Transfer & Office Manager

Emilie joined the team in 2004 and is the Office Manager. Emilie is also responsible for all Block and Estate property transfers, including leasehold enquiries and compliance certificates.

Jane Wade

Block & Estate Accounts Manager

Jane joined Wards in 2012 and has over 25 years experience in property management. She is responsible for managing the accounts for a portfolio of apartment blocks and mixed leasehold and freehold developments.

Shantelle Young

Block & Estate Property Manager

Shantelle joined Wards in 2012 and manages housing estates and apartment blocks throughout the Midlands. Shantelle liaises with freeholders, leaseholders and contractors to resolve maintenance issues as well as dealing with everyday management queries.

Kelly Stretton

Residential Lettings Manager

Kelly joined Wards in 2022 and manages the Residential Lettings department. Kelly is responsible for resolving property maintenance issues, interim and final inspections, tenancy deposit scheme disputes and any other matters arising during or at end of tenancy for all of our Residential Lettings properties.

Sophie Mason

Residential Sales Manager

Sophie has worked in the property industry for 5 years having started her career in Barnsley. She joined the team at Wards in 2025 and manages the Residential Sales department. She is responsible for the marketing, negotiation and progression for all of our Residential Sales properties.

Rachel Oliver

Residential Lettings Coordinator

Rachel joined the team at Wards in 2025. Rachel is responsible for the marketing, negotiation and pre-tenancy arrangements for all of our Residential Lettings properties. Prior to joining Wards, Rachel worked for a regional building society as a Mortgage Advisor.

Alice Averall

Block & Estate Administrator

Alice has worked in the property industry for over 10 years and joined Wards in 2025. Her duties include regular routine site inspections, logging and reporting problems and liaising with contractors, owners and tenants.

Kath Jeynes

Commercial Accounts Manager

Kath joined Wards in 2006. Her duties mainly include collection and processing of commercial rents and liaising with commercial landlords and tenants, along with managing utility accounts for managed properties.

Daniel Harris

Residential Lettings Accounts Administrator

BA (Hons)

Daniel joined Wards in 2017 and is the accounts administrator for the Residential Lettings team. His role consists of collecting and processing the residential rents along with dealing with everyday rental enquiries.

Victoria Shortland-Webb

Block & Estate Accounts Administrator

Victoria joined Wards in 2023 and is responsible for managing the accounts for a portfolio of property developments.

Lucy Gamble

Block & Estate Accounts Administrator

Lucy joined Wards in 2024 and is responsible for managing the accounts for a portfolio of property developments.

Louise Hubbard

Louise joined the company in 2005 and assists in administering the accounts for the management of the blocks of residential and commercial developments.
